When creating a Discount (Amount) or Discount (Percentage) dynamic rule, you can enable the "Calculated Discounted Price Becomes Sale Price" checkbox.
Enabling this checkbox has a significant effect on how discount rules work.
If this checkbox is disabled, discounts will only appear on the cart page under the cart totals. They will not be displayed on product pages or anywhere else on the website.
If the checkbox is enabled, the discounted price becomes the sale price for each product. As a result, it is displayed across the entire website.
Keep in mind that disabling this checkbox (applying discounts only on the cart page) generally offers better compatibility. It is less likely to conflict with other plugins or pricing features. Because these discounts are calculated only in the cart after all other calculations are complete, they tend to work seamlessly with other plugins, discounts, and add-ons.
