Licensing FAQ: Activation, Transfer the License, Staging Sites, Auto Updates

Activate the License #

To activate the B2BKing license, please see the following guides:

If you're just starting out with B2BKing, we recommend beginning with the Quick Start Guide.

Transfer the License to a New Domain #

Once you have activated the B2BKing license, you can transfer it to a new site at any time. To do this, follow these steps:

(1) Log in to your account at https://kingsplugins.com/my-account/downloads-licenses/

(2) Click the "Deactivate" button to deactivate the license on the current site:

Deactivate license from site

(3) Go to the new site's backend, navigate to the B2BKing settings page, and activate the license there.

There is no limit to how many times a license can be transferred this way.

You can use this to develop your site on a staging environment first, and then transfer the license to the live production site.

Staging Sites & Development Environments #

In addition to the option of activating the license on a staging site first and then moving it to the live site, there are some additional options available.

You can activate the license on a subdomain of your site without it counting as a separate use of the license.

For example, if you activate B2BKing on "mysite.com," you can also activate the same license on "staging.mysite.com" or "dev.mysite.com."

You can use this to maintain a permanent development site where you test new changes before releasing them to the live site.

Automatic Updates #

Once the license is active on a site, the plugin will receive automatic updates. These updates will appear like any other WordPress plugin updates on the backend Plugins page:
